The legendary Broadway musical comedy extravaganza

42nd Street Image

Music by Harry Warren. Lyrics by Al Dubin
Book by Michael Stewart & Mark Bramble
Based on a Novel by Bradford Ropes
Direction and Dance by Gower Champion
Originally Produced on Broadway by David Merrick
By arrangement with MusicScope and Stage Musicals Limited of New York.

Known as the mother of all song-and-dance musicals, it is vitally important that all potential auditionees recognise this!  The chorus are just that - they play "the boys and girls" of the chorus of the fictional musical Pretty Lady - the show within a show, which is a dance (tap) extravaganza.  If anything, dance ability takes precedence over singing ability!!
So - to help all interested before auditions - we are planning to run a few classes.  Watch the website for more information - and dust off those dancing shoes!
