Tap Dancing - *Please Note Date Change for July*
Tap dancing classes will be held at All Saints Church Hall, St Catherines Road Winchester.
7.45 - 8.45 Beginners Class
8.45 - 9.00 Experienced Class
The classes will cost £4.50 and will be held on:
Tuesday 20th May
Tuesday 17th June
Tuesday 22nd July
All levels of ability welcome, even two left feet!!! Please let Louise Hodson know if you want to come.

We have just heard that we have been given a NODA award for the programme for The Sorcerer. Well done to all concerned.

Extraordinary General Meeting
Wednesday 23 July 2008 7:00pm, Western School, Browning Drive, Winchester
In accordance with paragraphs 5-7 of the Articles of Association, notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting of the membership of Winchester Operatic Society will be held on Wednesday 23 July, at 7:00pm at Western School, Browning Drive, Winchester. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the terms of agreement between Winchester Operatic Society and the Theatre Royal, Winchester.
WOS Walks
Sunday July 20th - Bike ride and walk on Isle of Wight. Portsmouth to Ryde crossing. Lunch half way round. Full day outing. Led by Dave Rowe, David Anderson and Pam Jones on bikes and Faith Anderson on foot.
Sunday August 31st - Walk on banks of River Hamble using ferry crossing and ending with lunch at the Jolly Sailor. Full morning/early afternoon. Led by Brian Hurst.

Set Design
If you are interested in helping with set design (interpreting the director's ideas) alongside the set builders, and set painting, we need your help!
Many current members have vast experience in this aspect of putting on a show, all of whom will be pleased to help and advise, but we need someone to be the 'lynch-pin', to have an overall view.
