Daily Echo Curtain Call Awards 2011

Congratulations to our Vice Chairman and Treasurer Adrian Hickford who won an award for Best Performance in an Opera in his role of Lord Chancellor in Pocket G & S production of Iolanthe.

Sadly our other WOS member nominess were not successful on this occasion but congratulations on being nominated.

The WOS Gazette is the regular Newsletter of the Society – sent to all current members on a regular basis – it contains information about our own shows, some reviews of other societies’ productions, social events for members and the occasional amusing anecdote.

WOS SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

We pride ourselves on the friendly nature of our Society and have regular social activities throughout the year – these range from quiz evenings to organised walks and bike rides, theatre visits, Burn’s night suppers, BBQ’s, Barn Dances and skittles evenings.
