Welcome to WOS

If you are interested in Music and Drama or helping back stage then WOS is just the group to join. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and lively group who enjoy working with others of similar interests in staging Light Opera, Musicals and Operatic productions with many social activities that take place during the year.

To take an acting part, applicants need to attend an audition, which takes place before each production. These auditions are advertised in the local press as well as the "WOS Gazette" and on this website. We usually perform two productions each year, one in the Spring, and the other in the Autumn. Rehearsals take place at 7.45pm on Mondays and Wednesdays at Western School, Browning Drive (map). Not all the cast is called for each rehearsal. Productions run for one week.
